This is a work I did for the cover of a book named Einstein's dreams, although this is not the actual work on the cover of the book this was my interpretation of it :). Honestly this is my 3rd try, you can check out the 1st also in my gallery, after initially finishing this I found that I needed to separate the chunk of his head more and add more background,m I have a pic of the second try, but it is so similar that I have chosen not to post it here, if anyone wants to see it, just email me and I will send you a copy of that version.

Note: I acknowledge that the clock is blatently ripped off of Dali, I think the idea fit the piece well

when i look at Einstein's Dreams by ~darick, i see brilliant color and even better technique. I you read the description, you'll know that this idea was well worked upon, to get the desired look. it's a good example of how determination can make you succeed greatly. fullview is a must. That's pretty cool, I love the expression on his face. And that little piece that seems to have blown off his head is an interesting detail. ;)

I really wanted to avoid using eyes in thsi one, sometimes its nice to have the figure looking nowhere (as if into themeselves) as opposed to us or an object

thanks, you should read the book, its so full of them, plus I need a buddy to discuss it with
p.s.-your always so nice to me, thanks for the poking me with a stick comment, it really made me feel missed :)
